Bay Area Bridges Compilation

This has been a true journey. Starting in 2015, every month we had a new show at Studio Grand in Oakland, CA. A new collaboration, new compositions, new arrangements - for four years. Each project was a world in and of itself. From the exploration of life on Mars, to life and love in Spain. We are so grateful to all of the artists of the series. For the rehearsals, brainstorming, performances, and for your creativity. With each project we were able to learn so much from our collaborators, and also grow as composers, improvisers, artists, and humans.

This compilation album represents those four years for us and the five albums we created, in tribute to our community and the Bay Area artistic community. The five albums are comprised of original music written by RDL+, inspired during our Bay Area Bridges Residency.

To our Studio Grand crew in Oakland, Renata, Vanessa, and Jordan–you all are a part of our creative family. Thank you for your ideas, your commitment, and your passion.Thank you to our loved ones, for being there, supporting us, and loving us along the way. And thank you to the Bay Area community! We are so lucky to contribute to such a vibrant part of the world.
